Mailroom Associate Requirements

• Some mailroom experience
• Able to stand for the majority of the shift
• operating procedures, and a corresponding level of skill to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment.
• Able to set up, operate, and adjust the equipment, and in addition, diagnose, solve, and correct operating problems affecting the quality and timeliness of the service, product, or function.
• May instruct junior-level operators on how to complete the required corrective adjustment.
• Typically, corrective adjustments require the operator to consider the symptom(s), possible causes, and remedies.

Job Duties

• Operate machines that automatically address, weigh, and tie into bundles printed publications, such as magazines, catalogs, and pamphlets, for mailing according to zip code.
• Review manufacturing instructions to determine the type and size of publication scheduled for mailing.
• Make adjustments to guides, rollers, loose card inserter, weighing machine, and tying arm, using a rule and hand tools.
• Records production according to customer name and zip code, and machine downtime due to malfunctions or lack of work.
• Processes and ships outgoing small package parcels such as UPS, Federal Express, and DHL.

What You Will Do


As a Mailroom Associate you will receive, pick, pack, sort, stage, load, unload, and organize products throughout warehouse operations. You will verify inventory, prepare shipments, maintain accurate product locations, support order fulfillment, assist with inventory counts, and help ensure efficient warehouse operations while following established safety procedures.

A Mailroom Associate contributes to warehouse operations by handling inventory, preparing shipments, and supporting accurate order fulfillment. This position requires organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently throughout changing operational demands.


The Mailroom Associate supports receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory management while maintaining safe work practices and efficient product movement throughout the warehouse.
