About the Role:

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Aspire Senior Living Warsaw, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing expert speech-language pathology services. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders in older adults, skilled nursing facility residents, and other patient populations. Your Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) expertise will help to improve our residents' quality of life, independence, and overall well-being.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of communication and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific communication and swallowing needs

• Provide speech-language therapy sessions to residents, including individual and group therapy

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in speech-language pathology

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program

• Current license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Missouri

• CPR certification

• Experience working with geriatric populations preferred
