Step into a rewarding contract role as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting students and staff in an educational setting near Hartford, CT. As a BCBA in this school-based environment, you’ll use your expertise to assess student needs, develop and implement behavior intervention plans, and provide support to staff and families. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current BCBA certification
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience designing and monitoring behavioral interventions
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and student observations
- Develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Train and coach school staff on behavior strategies and intervention techniques
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure plan success
- Track, monitor, and report progress using data-driven approaches
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
