Knowledge and experience with administering of IV and PO drugs and their possible adverse reactions. Competent with patient evaluation, physical assessment, and interviewing techniques. Knowledge in the legal aspects of nursing. Successfully passing safety, cultural sensitivity, and blood pathogen classes. Knowledge and experience with conscious sedation medications and their reversal agents. Knowledge and demonstrated skill using special equipment such as monitors, infusion pumps, temporary pacemakers, O2 equipment, SPO2 monitors, EKG machines, defibrillators, etc. Required Experience Graduated from an approved School of Nursing. Current license as a Registered Nurse in California. BCLS and ACLS certification. Evidence of continuing education and self-development. Minimum of one year experience in a Electrophysiology Lab. Demonstrates teaching ability in a formal and/or informal setting. Preferred Experience Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Two-year experience in Cath/EP Lab.
