Location: Aventura, Florida
Start Date: 03-30-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, rotating weekends for call
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to help patients achieve their functional goals
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient progress accurately in the Meditech system
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and safety precautions
- Participate in team conferences and contribute to discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy license in Florida (required)
- Current BLS certification (required)
- At least 2 years of physical therapy experience (required)
- IRF or SNF experience preferred
- Previous travel experience is a plus
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and work independently
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in using Meditech for documentation
- Experience with rehabilitation equipment such as treadmill, car simulators, RT300, Bioness systems, and BITS
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
