FSQA Manager

About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking an experienced FSQA Manager to lead food safety quality assurance sanitation and regulatory compliance programs within a food processing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong food manufacturing experience leadership skills and expertise in HACCP and USDA-regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the FSQA department and develop high-performing team members.
• Manage HACCP Food Safety Plans GMPs SSOPs and Environmental Monitoring Programs .
• Lead food safety investigations CAPA root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Oversee sanitation verification product hold/release and product quality compliance.
• Serve as the primary liaison with USDA-FSIS personnel.
• Lead internal customer third-party and regulatory audits including BRCGS.
• Ensure compliance with customer regulatory food safety and labeling requirements.
• Develop FSQA training programs and communicate quality and food safety trends.
• Partner with Production and other departments on process improvements and new products.
• Support facility start-up pre-operational sanitation and second-shift activities as needed.

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in food processing and quality management.
• Management or supervisory experience with the ability to coach and develop teams.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP GMPs SSOPs sanitation microbial hazards and food safety regulations .
• Experience leading diverse cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a food processing environment including cold temperatures and production areas.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Meat processing experience with USDA-regulated products .
• Experience with USDA-FSIS BRCGS M3 Redzone or TraceGains .

Additional Information

• On-site position in Valley Alabama
• Relocation assistance is not provided.
• Occasional travel and non-standard hours may be required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. climb stairs and work in temperatures below 32F.
