Assistant Nurse Manager

About This Role The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional registered nurse who supports the execution of the nursing strategic plan and priorities. This role is ideal for skilled communicators and leaders who are dedicated to improving patient care and fostering a collaborative team environment. Highlights Location: Red Bank, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Full-time, Night shift What You'll Do Participate with recruitment and retention strategies. Assist with unit huddles and leader rounding with employees. Participate in unit goal creation reflective of hospital goals. Lead or participate in evidence-based practice projects or research. Resolve conflicts and facilitate constructive resolutions. Complete employee corrective action plans/counseling as necessary. Prepare and conduct periodic performance evaluations for assigned staff. Monitor the unit orientation process for all roles as necessary. Lead multidisciplinary rounds to optimize patient and family experience. Ensure unit-based performance improvement monitoring is completed. Education Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire Experience Minimum 3 years recent ER nursing experience in respective specialty or equivalent Licenses & Certifications NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification required National Certification acceptable to the Magnet Recognition Program preferred About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
