Millennium Physical Therapy Services is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice in Danville, Virginia. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with the latest technologies to aid in sports medicine and physical rehabilitation. Our team consists of highly trained professionals including two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), dedicated to fostering a collaborative approach to healing.

Work Environment

This full-time position is onsite at our Danville, VA location. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured yet dynamic work environment focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes. Our practice focuses on one-on-one care, with a patient load of one individual per hour, enabling personalized attention and tailored treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and address the unique rehabilitation goals and needs of each patient.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and develop customized treatment plans utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques.
• Offer cost-effective, evidence-based treatments aimed at improving patients' movement and overall functional capacity.
• Incorporate strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination exercises into individualized fitness and wellness programs.
• Provide ongoing motivation and support to patients throughout their recovery, optimizing their physical performance.
• Minimize dependence on pain medications by exploring and promoting non-surgical alternatives.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to holistically approach patient care and recovery.
• Document all treatments and patient progress carefully, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient population consists of individuals with private medical insurance, predominantly seeking care for orthopedic conditions. This includes, but is not limited to, post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and age-related musculoskeletal issues. Patients trust us to guide them toward regaining full function, which enhances their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• Clear record without any board actions or disciplinary measures on your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and a well-rounded ability to develop effective exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
