About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Marketer who takes ownership and gets things moving.

We have multiple marketing channels, initiatives, products, and new ideas in development. You'll take ownership of key areas, know what's happening and what needs to happen next, and make sure the work keeps moving forward.

You won't just make a plan and hand it off. You'll figure out what needs to happen, get it moving, track it, improve it, and know when something needs to change.

This is a great next step for someone with a strong marketing foundation who is ready for more ownership, more room to experiment, and a bigger opportunity to influence how marketing gets done. You'll have room to work with new technology, automation, AI, and data-but you don't need to have done everything before. We're looking for the attitude, aptitude, and experience to step into something bigger and grow with it.

What You'll Do

• Own and develop account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives, from identifying target accounts through execution, measurement, and improvement.
• Partner with Sales to align target accounts, messaging, campaigns, outreach, and follow-up.
• Develop targeted campaigns, positioning, and messaging that connect with the organizations and decision-makers that matter most to 45Drives.
• Own key marketing channels and programs and continuously improve their performance.
• Keep marketing initiatives moving by maintaining clear priorities, ownership, next steps, and visibility into blockers.
• Manage initiatives from start to finish, working across Marketing, Sales, Product, Engineering, and external partners.
• Use customer, market, and performance data to make better marketing decisions.
• Improve how marketing gets done through better processes, technology, automation, and AI.
• Connect marketing activity to customer engagement, pipeline, revenue, and broader business goals.

What You Need

We hire for attitude and aptitude, not just credentials. If you have the ability and experience to do this work but don't check every traditional box, we still want to hear from you.

• Strong experience with account-based marketing (ABM) and targeted marketing for priority accounts or customer segments.
• B2B marketing experience within technology, manufacturing, engineering, enterprise software, infrastructure, or another complex industry.
• Experience with positioning, product messaging, go-to-market strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Experience partnering with Sales and working across multiple business functions.
• A track record of taking marketing initiatives from strategy through execution and producing measurable results.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work without a perfectly defined roadmap.
• A hands-on approach-you're comfortable developing the strategy and doing the work required to execute it.
• A bachelor's degree in a related field is an asset, not a requirement. Relevant experience and demonstrated capability matter more to us.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Wilmington, North Carolina.

What Would Be Considered an Asset

• Experience in enterprise storage, cloud infrastructure, data management, cybersecurity, AI, or open-source technology markets.
• Experience working closely with engineering or product development teams.
• Experience launching technical products into global B2B markets.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial technology.
• Experience with customer interviews, market research, or Voice of Customer (VoC) initiatives.
• Experience building brands within high-growth technology organizations.
• MBA or advanced education in Marketing, Business, or Strategy.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first year, you will:

• Establish a focused ABM approach that effectively reaches and engages priority accounts.
• Strengthen the performance of the marketing channels and programs you own.
• Build strong alignment with Sales around target accounts, customer engagement, and pipeline.
• Help create a more effective marketing operation that moves ideas into execution.
• Demonstrate measurable contribution to customer engagement, pipeline, revenue, and 45Drives' growth.

Our starting annual total compensation package-including base salary and performance incentives-ranges from $180,065 to $205,012 USD, depending on experience.
