Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Providence, WA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-risk deliveries and the ability to manage labor and preterm labor cases effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk cases
• Circulate in the operating room for C-sections
• Administer blood and blood products, including anticoagulation therapy
• Use and manage epidural anesthesia and PCA pumps
• Maintain patient safety standards and provide education to families
• Perform assessments and manage care for low-risk antepartum and postpartum patients
• Float to postpartum and NICU as needed based on skill set

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in Labor & Delivery
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Current certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred)
• Active compact nursing license
