Join the team of a top globalautomotive, medical, and cosmeticsparts manufacturer in the role of Program Manager. Lead engineering changes across several product lines through design, launch, and support phases,managing compliance, and improving engineering process and efficiency. Abackground in plastic injection molding will be prioritized. Position: Program Manager Reporting to: Engineering Manager Classification: Exempt Location: Conover, NC Salary: $90,000-$110,000 Position Summary: Manages engineering changes and newproduct introduction. This position will actively manage compliance with APQP andchange control requirements. This position will interface with customers andcolleagues to ensure trouble-free launches ofnew products and changes to existing products. Maintain adherence to requirements of ISO 14001, IATF 16949,ISO 9001, ISO 5001 & TISAX that apply to activities performed Essential Functions: Lead the launch of new programs utilizing company systemswithin budget. Be the recognized program leader at the customer andinternally for all issues prior to PPAP approval. Ensure that the BOM is accurately loaded into the MRP systemand all production items are identified and approved beforeSOP Utilize Engineering change process to implement changes toBOM after initial loading and SOP. Provide sales team with the necessary information to managewithin requirements & eliminate cost creep. Manage tooling & equipment supplier within requirements, molds/machines meet quality & cycle timestandards, delivered on time & within budget. Demonstrate each tool/equipment meets the targeted cycletime, scrap rate, part weight, and uptime efficiency throughofficial run-at-rate events. Lead corrective actions to resolve any cycle time, scrape rate,part weight & uptime efficiency after SOP, if necessary Interface with both production and company cost optimizationprojects. Lead significant Engineering Changes or major toolingrefurbishment projects after SOP. Required Education &Experience: Degree in Engineering Discipline 1-3 years program management experience 3+ years experience in Injection Molding Working experience with ISO 14001, IATF 16949 etc. Working experience of CAD systems Previous experience in the automotive or automotive supplierindustry.
