This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, eager to learn, and excited to grow within a supportive and collaborative team environment.Local presence: Must be able to commute to our Manalapan, New Jersey office.What You'll Be Doing:Support a solution-focused and collaborative billing environment,Support the billing cycle including claim submission, payment posting, claim follow-up, and resolution support,Accurately verify prospective and current client information and insurance,Ensure timely and accurate insurance claim processing and payment posting,Process client payments and maintain up-to-date financial records,Assist with billing issues such as coordination of benefits, insurance terminations, claim follow-up, and recoupments, with opportunities to grow into more complex billing responsibilities over time,Maintain billing documentation, insurance aging reports, and billing-related tracking,Support provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes,Respond to client and staff billing questions with clarity, professionalism, and empathy,Collaborate with the billing team and leadership to support smooth workflows and continuous improvement,Ensure compliance with billing procedures, carrier requirements, and HIPAA regulations,Support ongoing billing initiatives and process improvements across the department.What We're Looking For:Experience: 1–3+ years of medical billing experience preferredInsurance knowledge: Experience with electronic insurance processing required. Familiarity with commercial insurance, Medicare, credentialing, payer processes, ICD-10 and CPT codes preferred.
