CaregiverLocation: Yukon, OKCompany: Seniors Helping Seniors Central OklahomaJob Type: Part-TimeSalary: $12 - $17 HOURLYBenefits: Employee assistance program, Flexible schedule, Referral programJob Summary:Seniors Helping Seniors Central Oklahoma is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide companion care to a senior client with dementia. As a Caregiver, you will be part of a team that brightens the lives of seniors by providing a helping hand and a friendly smile. Our caregivers, who are seniors themselves (aged 50+), make life a little easier by taking care of day-to-day tasks that become more challenging as seniors age.Responsibilities:Provide companionship and homemaker duties, including light housekeeping, shopping, and errandsAssist with personal care duties, including dressing, feeding, showering/bathing, mobility assistance, toileting/incontinence, and memory careEngage in activities that bring joy and stimulation to the client, such as playing games, watching movies, or going for walksDocument client's progress and daily activitiesMaintain open communication with the client's family and our organizationRequirements:Previous Caregiving experience, CNA, HHA, PCA, DSP, or experience caring for a loved oneAbility to pass a criminal background check and drug testValid Driver's License with a reliable vehicle and insuranceMaturity to deal effectively with the demands of the jobAbility to follow detailed instructions to execute our care planMaintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by Seniors Helping SeniorsWorking Conditions:Part-time schedule with flexible hoursOccasional light lifting and bending may be requiredMust be reliable and able to commit to regular shiftsHow to Apply:If you are a caring and compassionate individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors, please apply to this role.
