Job Offer – Digital Advertising & Marketing Specialist

We are pleased to offer you the job of Digital Advertising & Marketing Specialist. You will advertise for Auburn Rental and Associates LLC (the “Company”). This is a new position. It does not replace or carry over any current job or title.

THE BASICS

Full-time, hourly, non-exempt. This position is shared with JLD Enterprises LLC under common ownership.

Schedule:

Your combined schedule for both companies is 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time, with an unpaid lunch 12:00–1:00 PM. Record your time for each company separately and accurately in the timekeeping app (for example, mornings for one company and afternoons for the other). Each company pays for the hours you record to it.

DAILY TASKS

Each workday, you will:

☐  Post: Publish at least 10 category posts for the Company across Facebook, LinkedIn, Snapchat, X, and Google platforms.

☐  Describe: Write narratives for pictures and reels, using AI tools where helpful. Review any AI-written text for accuracy before posting.

☐  Photos & drone footage: Review, select, and edit the jobsite photos (often hundreds daily) and drone footage (usually weekly) taken by the Owner and General Manager or other support staff. Use them for posts, reels, and website updates for the Company.

☐  Jobsite visits: Visit jobsites to take photos when needed or as directed by the Owner and General Manager. Work-related travel during work hours is paid work time.

☐  Website: Update the Company’s website pages with new pictures and footage from current jobsites.

☐  Outreach: Track outreach to clients and groups, and respond to or pass along leads.

☐  Log: Log your daily activity (posts, platforms, website updates, leads) for reports.

WEEKLY / MONTHLY TASKS

·       Submit all reports to the Owner and General Manager.

·       Every Wednesday by 2:00 PM: send the Owner and General Manager an updated list of all Company accounts, logins, and passwords by encrypted email.

·       Weekly: a short activity summary for the Company (posts, website updates, outreach).

·       Monthly: an outreach and results report for the Company (reach, engagement, leads, and sales trends).

·       Plan upcoming content with the Owner and General Manager. Other related duties as assigned.

You should know how to use all five platforms listed above, AI writing tools, and photo, reel, and drone footage editing.

PAY

The pay range is $22.10 to $25.10 per hour. The rate schedule below applies to all hours you work for both companies. Auburn Rental and Associates LLC pays you for the hours you record to it, weekly by direct deposit, less taxes and withholdings. The pay week runs Thursday morning through Wednesday evening. Payroll is processed on Thursday and paid by direct deposit overnight into Friday morning, so no pay is held back. You will complete a direct deposit authorization form.

90-Day Check-In: At the end of your first 90 working days, you will meet with the Owner and General Manager for a check-in review to confirm the job is on the right track going forward.

Overtime: Overtime is not authorized. Your combined hours for both companies may not exceed 40 per week. Any hours actually worked will still be paid as required by law, and combined hours over 40 are paid at 1.5 times your regular rate.

Quarterly Performance Bonus: Starting after your first full year of employment, you can earn a quarterly bonus of one-half percent (0.5%) of your combined gross wages from both companies for that quarter. Each company pays the bonus on the wages it paid you. The bonus is earned when both of these are met:

(1) Sales growth: combined sales for JLD Enterprises LLC and Auburn Rental and Associates LLC for the quarter are higher than the same quarter of the previous year, based on the companies’ sales records.

(2) Posting goal: you completed the required daily posts (at least 10 per company) on at least 90% of your scheduled workdays that quarter, as shown in your weekly reports.

Within 15 days after each quarter ends, the Owner and General Manager will review the numbers with you on a one-page Bonus Worksheet, and you will both sign it. Earned bonuses are paid on the next regular payday after the worksheet is signed. You must be employed on the payout date to receive the bonus. The bonus program may be changed or ended with 30 days’ written notice for future quarters.

Paid Time Off (PTO / Earned Time Off): PTO is provided, accrued, and paid through JLD Enterprises LLC under its PTO policy (see the Employee Handbook), not separately by Auburn Rental and Associates LLC.

Paid Holidays (paid through JLD Enterprises LLC): After your first 90 working days: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

IMPORTANT TERMS

·       Work eligibility: You must complete Form I-9 and show proof that you can work in the U.S. within 3 business days of starting. The Company uses E-Verify.

·       Onboarding: At onboarding, provide a voided check for direct deposit setup and copies of relevant certificates and credentials for your personnel file (for example, certificates of completion, OSHA or other safety training cards, training records, and associate’s or college degrees or related certifications).

·       Conditions: This offer depends on passing a drug test and a background check, and on your signed acceptance. The background check will be done only with your written authorization and in line with the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act.

·       Drug testing: You may be subject to random or for-cause (reasonable suspicion) drug testing during employment, per the Employee Handbook.

·       Transportation: You must have reliable transportation to and from work, and to jobsites when needed.

·       Timekeeping: You must clock in and out electronically using the Company-provided app, recording your time to the correct company. The app records exact times and your location while you are clocked in. Location tracking is limited to working hours. By signing, you consent to this tracking.

·       Lunch: Lunch is one unpaid hour daily, 12:00–1:00 PM, and you are relieved of all duties during lunch. Eating during working hours is not allowed on premises unless approved by the Owner and General Manager.

·       Tobacco-free: No smoking, tobacco, or electronic cigarettes/vaping anywhere on Company premises.

·       Jobsite Safety: When visiting a jobsite: check in with the Owner and General Manager or site lead before arriving and follow their directions; wear Company-provided safety gear as required (hard hat, safety vest, closed-toe boots, safety glasses); stay clear of active equipment, trenches, ladders, roofs, and restricted areas, and take photos only from safe locations; only licensed, approved personnel may fly drones; report any injury, near miss, or unsafe condition to the Owner and General Manager immediately. If you do not already hold an OSHA 10-hour construction card, the Company will pay for the course after you complete your first 90 working days, and you will complete it on paid time. If your employment ends for any reason before your one-year anniversary, you agree to repay the course cost. By signing a separate Training Repayment Agreement, you authorize the Company to deduct this cost from your final paycheck, but only to the extent the deduction does not reduce your pay below the federal minimum wage for that pay period.

·       Company property: The Company provides the equipment you need for work. All Company equipment, including phones, laptops, drones, and any other equipment, must be left on Company premises at the end of every workday, unless the Owner and General Manager approves otherwise (e.g., for a jobsite visit). All equipment, social media accounts, website content, photos, posts, ad data, logins, and passwords belong to the Company. Do not change passwords without approval or use the accounts for personal use.

·       When employment ends: Return all Company equipment and provide all accounts, logins, and passwords at least 48 hours before final check pick-up so the Owner can verify them. Your final paycheck, for all hours worked, will be a printed check picked up in person at 2:00 PM on the regular Friday payday for your final pay week (mailed on request if you cannot pick it up). Final pay does not depend on returning property, and no deductions will be made for unreturned property. The only deductions will be those required by law or authorized by you in writing as permitted by law. The Company may recover its property by other lawful means.

·       Posting rules: All ads and posts must follow the posting guidelines in the Employee Handbook and be approved by the Owner and General Manager as directed. Do not post customer photos, names, addresses, or other personal information without the customer’s written permission. Post only from the Company’s official accounts, never from personal accounts, and include every Company account in the Wednesday account/password list.

·       Confidentiality: Keep the Company’s business, client, and pricing information private.

·       Employee Handbook: You must read and sign an acknowledgment of the Company’s Employee Handbook, which includes the PTO, drug testing, posting guidelines, equipment, and password policies. The Handbook does not change your at-will status.

·       At-will: The first 90 working days are an introductory period. Your employment is at-will under Alabama law, during and after this period. You or the employer may end it at any time, with or without cause or notice. This letter is not a contract for a set length of time.
