RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet our awesome guests with a smile and provide them with all the information they need on our exciting center programs, services, promotions, and specials. Let's make their day!
• Become a pro at answering phones professionally and warmly, handling reservations like a breeze.
• Size up our bowlers with the perfect shoes and balls – you've got the magic touch!
• Keeping things fresh and clean is your superpower. Spray and disinfect rental shoes with gusto!
• Keep the lanes buzzing with action by tracking lane availability, organizing leagues, and ensuring everything starts right on time. Time to show off your exceptional organizational skills!
• Channel your inner cashier and accurately ring up sales while following our cash control procedures. You'll be a cash-handling champ!
• Be a superhero in spotting malfunctions in our equipment, promptly notifying our mechanics and keeping a log of it all.
• Let's get those strikes! Provide basic bowling instructions and troubleshoot automatic scoring equipment for our customers.
• Take control of our POS equipment, central panel, computers, and P/A system. You're in command!
• Teamwork makes the dream work. Be there to lend a hand to your colleagues whenever needed – we're all in this together!
• The customer is king! Whenever a question or request comes your way, take ownership, and guide them to a resolution. Show them the door with a big thank you and invite them back for more fun!
• Safety first! Keep our center sparkling clean and safe at all times, following our company's safety and security standards. Report any incidents immediately.
• Embrace flexibility! We need your positive energy on varying shifts, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays to support our bustling business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Counter Desk Attendants possess a highly developed sense of customer service and interpersonal skills including respect for all individuals and solid communication skills. Counter Desk Attendants must be strong team players. Knowledge of and adherence to workplace safety procedures and basic PC user skills highly preferred. Must meet the minimum age required by company operating standards.
• EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent and a full service restaurant and/or hospitality experience preferred but not required. Relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable. Must have a proven record of success in school and/or previous job experiences.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with help and/or assistance.
• WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess bilingual communication skills
• Be TABC certified
