Salary Range: $325,000 - $375,000 per year The Department of Surgery at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time academic faculty position in Colorectal Surgery at the Assistant Professor level. This position is based in the Baltimore area. The ideal candidate will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, innovation, and research within one of the nation's leading academic health systems. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care in colorectal surgery, managing both benign and malignant diseases using open, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques. Play an active role in surgical education, including bedside teaching, didactic instruction, and curriculum development for residents and fellows. Engage in clinical or translational research initiatives with opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration. Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety efforts within the division and across the Johns Hopkins Health System. Participate in institutional and departmental service, including committee work and professional society involvement. Salary Range The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting. Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. The actual compensation offered to the selected candidate may vary and will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate's geographic location, skills, work experience, internal equity, market conditions, education/training and other factors, as reasonably determined by the University.
