Desired Background & Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Demonstrated experience working in school settings, supporting children and youth
• Solid grasp of IEP processes, goal development, and documentation for compliance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt strategies to meet a variety of needs
• Comfort working onsite within dynamic educational environments
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 35 students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students, fostering independence and participation in academic tasks
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the educational team
• Create and implement individualized interventions supporting fine motor, sensory processing, and self-help skills
• Provide clear documentation, progress notes, and participate actively in IEP meetings
• Serve as a resource for teachers, recommending classroom modifications and accommodations
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and goals
