Role Description The Fabricator role is a full-time, on-site position located in Cleveland, TN. The Fabricator is responsible for reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints, measuring and cutting metal, and using tools and equipment such as saws, grinders, welders, and drills to produce ornamental and structural iron components. Daily tasks include fitting and assembling parts, performing quality checks, and ensuring work meets specifications and project deadlines. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe work area, following safety procedures and protective equipment requirements, and collaborating with other shop team members and supervisors to complete fabrication projects. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. Proficiency with metal fabrication tools and equipment (e.g., cutting, grinding, drilling, and basic welding processes). Strong measurement, layout, and fabrication skills to ensure accurate cutting, fitting, and assembly of metal components. Commitment to workplace safety, including proper use of PPE and adherence to shop safety protocols. Attention to detail and quality, with the ability to inspect finished work and make necessary adjustments. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and perform repetitive tasks in a shop environment. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively.
