divh2Principal Data Analyst/h2pThe Principal Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex and often unstructured data, building and automating reports and dashboards from the ground up, and delivering clear, actionable insights to executive leadership. This role requires deep expertise in SQL, independent development of Power BI dashboards, and the ability to translate large data sets into meaningful business narratives. The Principal Data Analyst partners closely with the Data Services and cross-functional teams to support data creation, optimize data pipelines, and refine analytics in a fast-paced SaaS environment./ppEssential Duties Responsibilities/pulliLead end-to-end analytical projects by writing advanced SQL queries from scratch to extract, transform, and analyze data./liliIndependently design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support strategic and operational decision-making./liliAnalyze large, unorganized, and complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and business opportunities./liliPartner with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail./liliConduct requirements gathering to ensure reports and analyses align with stakeholder needs and corporate KPI definitions./liliDefine, interpret, and recommend data-driven actions based on analytical findings./liliPresent data, insights, and Power BI dashboards to executive and senior leadership teams in a clear, compelling manner./liliEnsure data is properly organized, documented, and structured to support current and future business requirements./liliResearch, analyze, and document methodologies, assumptions, and findings./liliPrioritize analytical initiatives based on organizational needs, business impact, and timelines./liliMay coach, review, and/or delegate work to other team members as needed./li/ul/div
