About The Role Diesel Shop Mechanic Gold Hill, NC

The Mechanic's primary objective is to maintain and repair Class B truck / Mobile Mixing Units (MMU) focusing on hydraulics, gear process pumps and electrical systems, primarily engine and chassis work.

• Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday 4 days / 10 hours each
• Daily Schedule: 6am 4pm
• Overtime: possible
• Local Day trip for field repairs

What you will be doing: This person is responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of this equipment to minimize downtime in delivery and service processes.

What you will bring:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven confidence in working independently in remote areas
• 45 years experience in troubleshooting or maintenance environment.
• Computer literate with industrial applications
• Expert practical understanding of, and experience with, control theory and systems (including electronics, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics).
• Highly developed problem-solving abilities.

Role dimensions:

Your qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Auto Electrical experience
• Engine and Chassis experience
• Hydraulic & Pumps experience

Compensation:

Hourly Pay Rate $25 - $30 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
