About the job Speech Language Pathologist
Speech Therapist (Brain Injury & Neuro Program)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (No weekends, holidays, or on-call) Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat adult patients with TBI, stroke , and other neurological conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on cognition, speech, language, and functional communication
- Collaborate closely with the team Psychologist and interdisciplinary providers to ensure coordinated patient care
- Provide ongoing patient and family education to support long-term recovery
- Complete timely charting, documentation, and care-coordination tasks (primarily on Fridays)
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews to support exceptional patient outcomes
- Must hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with adult neuro populations (TBI, stroke, cognitive impairment required)
- Strong clinical foundation in neuro rehabilitation and cognitive-linguistic therapy
- Ability to work fully on-site MondayFriday
- Comfortable working in a structured, collaborative, multidisciplinary setting
- No pediatrics in this role
