We proudly operate 23+ restaurants and 4+ central kitchens/commissary facilities across multiple states — and we're growing.Job SummaryAs the Accounting Manager, you will oversee, plan, and execute all accounting initiatives to make sure our company is compliant with all federal, state, and local financial laws. You will also work closely with upper management and other departments to help meet our fiscal and company growth goals.Job DutiesDirects and manages all accounting activities up to and including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, financial statements, and management reportingPrepares, manages, and keeps current a formal monthly closing processContributes to attainment of budget objectives by scheduling expenditures, analyzing budget variances, and recommending corrective plans and actionsOptimizes staff work performance by planning, monitoring and appraising work performance through coaching, counseling, and mentoring of team membersProtects assets by establishing, monitoring, auditing, and enforcing internal controlsWorks with upper management to recognized, monitor, and come up with dynamic solutions to resolve financial problems as they ariseGuides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, auditing, and enforcing policies and proceduresCoordinates external audit information flow with external auditorsOther duties as assignedSkills and QualificationsMinimum of 5 years' experience: managing accounting processes and software, developing policies and procedures, managing audits, analyzing business results, developing budgets, and performing budget vs. actual analysis (quantitative, qualitative)Supervisory / management experience preferredOutstanding financial, analytical, and statistical technical skillsExperience with the restaurant industry preferredExcellent communication skills and ability to communicate with internal and external customersExperience with QuickBooks preferredEducation RequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.Benefits & Other Compensation:Eligible employees may receive a comprehensive benefits package, with the company covering 90% of the medical premium.Medical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployee meals and discountsOpportunities for career growth and professional developmentEligibility and benefit offerings may vary based on position and tenureWe are an equal opportunity employer to all team members and applicants.
