Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU Days position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and a compact or Indiana RN license.

Details

• Work in a 24-bed Intensive Care Unit within a hospital setting
• Care for complex medical, neuro, cardiac, GI, renal, sepsis, trauma, and surgical patients, excluding fresh open heart surgery cases
• Patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 1:3
• Day shift schedule from 06:45 to 19:15
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (Indiana or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to complex, high-acuity ICU patients
• Facility follows a radius rule that allows local candidates but at a reduced pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Travelers should discuss potential extensions with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
