Sales Engineer - San José (f/m/d)

After extensive training, you will take over the following tasks Search for new sales opportunities and extend our customer base by customer acquisition activities Design and develop complex technical adhesive and processing solutions in multiple high tech industries Collaborate with executives and the Engineering team in the US as well as in Germany Provide start up project development and on going customer support Internal and external project management and control Set up local sales network Visit and represent DELO at various trade shows You are located in Bay Area (San José) Degree in Engineering, i.e. Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Material Science, Physical Engineering, or similar technical areas (Bachelor’s required, Master welcome) At least 5 years of experience in a technical corporate environment A minimum of 2 years of customer support – sales experience is desirable Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems Prior expertise in adhesives is not required as you will get intensive and exciting training in Germany Willingness to travel What our employees particularly appreciate Excellent onboarding process with training both in our Boston office and our Headquarters in Germany, providing specific knowledge about adhesives and joining technologies Be part of an international Engineering team supporting each other and working with well-known customers in a constantly growing technical field Additional benefits (e.g. equipment for home office, health insurance including dental, performance oriented bonus) Up to 25 days annual leave per year depending on your company affiliation #J-18808-Ljbffr DELO Industrial Adhesives
