About the role

We are looking for an experienced Application Development Architect II to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade application solutions. The role requires strong hands-on technical expertise across modern application development, cloud-native architecture, API-driven platforms, DevOps practices, and emerging AI-enabled application patterns.

As an Application Development Architect II , you will get to:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise application solutions across web, cloud, and integration platforms. 
• Define scalable, secure, maintainable, and performance-oriented application architecture. 
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, QA, DevOps, and cloud teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. 
• Provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, code review, testing, deployment, and production support. 
• Drive modernization initiatives using cloud-native patterns, microservices, APIs, containerization, and DevOps automation. 
• Evaluate technical feasibility, identify risks, and recommend solution approaches based on business priorities. 
• Establish engineering best practices for code quality, security, maintainability, performance, and observability. 
• Mentor developers and senior engineers on architecture patterns, design principles, coding standards, and technical problem-solving. 
• Support pre-sales, estimation, technical assessments, solution documentation, and client-facing technical discussions as needed. 
• Bring AI-first thinking into application development by exploring opportunities for Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, and intelligent application experiences

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• 12+ years of overall technology experience, with strong experience in application development and solution architecture. 
• Prior experience in client-facing architecture or technical leadership roles. 
• Experience modernizing legacy applications to cloud-native or microservices-based platforms. 
• Microsoft Azure certifications or AI/cloud-related certifications will be an added advantage. 
• Experience participating in technical communities, tech talks, solution reviews, and knowledge-sharing forums. 
• Strong experience in application development using C#, .NET / Java / Python / Node.js. 
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular and/or React. 
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous processing, integration patterns, and backend services. 
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or equivalent.
