About the Role:

An exciting opportunity is available for an organised and proactive Legal Assistant to join a modern, dynamic and collaborative litigation team at a respected boutique law firm.

In this role, you will provide direct support to the Managing Partner and her practice, assisting with high-profile insurance, defamation and commercial litigation matters. You will play an important role in keeping legal matters running smoothly while gaining valuable exposure to complex cases and working closely with an experienced legal professional.

This position is ideal for a legal support professional who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing accurate work and is looking to build a rewarding long-term career in litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Finalise, format and proofread legal correspondence and documents.
• Prepare, organise and file court documents in accordance with procedural requirements.
• Manage diaries, schedule meetings and coordinate appointments and deadlines.
• Arrange travel and provide administrative support for the Managing Partner.
• Assist with mediation preparation and related documentation.
• Open new matters, prepare client engagement documents and maintain accurate client records.
• Provide day-to-day administrative and legal support to ensure the smooth running of litigation matters.

Required Qualifications:

• Previous legal experience in a litigation environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive, reliable and professional approach to work.
• Ability to work collaboratively while managing tasks independently.
