About the Position

Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room RN (CVOR) – South Florida**Start Date:** September 28, 2026**Location:** South Florida**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Day shift, 1:1 patient ratio, on-call requirements split and dependent on staffing, rotating weekends possible

Highlights:

- 2-room cardiovascular operating suite within a 228-bed Joint Commission accredited top performing hospital- Advanced cardiovascular procedures utilizing Impella, ECMO, bypass pump, laser lead extraction equipment, and rapid transfuser technology- Dual-function role requiring both circulating and scrubbing competencies across multiple surgical specialties- Documentation via Meditech EMR system- Collaborative team environment with 1 RN and 1 Tech per shift (2 RNs/1 Tech on call)- Designated primary stroke center and Blue Distinction Stroke Center with comprehensive surgical programs

Requirements:

- Current Florida RN license or compact license eligible for Florida practice- ACLS and BLS certifications required- Minimum 2 years current experience in acute OR setting- Must be proficient in scrubbing and circulating for all service lines- Demonstrated competency in cardiovascular operating room procedures- Experience with joint replacement, ENT, orthopedic, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery preferred- Ability to function across multiple surgical specialties including robotics, orthopedics, spine, and GYN- Strong critical thinking, multitasking, assessment, and documentation skills
