Job Description
We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our busy commercial truck and trailer repair operation in Burleson for **** Evening & weekend shifts.
This is not a typical automotive service advisor position. We work on commercial trucks, trailers, fleet vehicles, tires, brakes, suspension, alignments, preventive maintenance, and mechanical repairs . We need someone who can keep the shop organized, communicate clearly with customers and technicians, and keep jobs moving from write-up to completion.
Responsibilities
Greet customers and write up repair/service requests
Answer phones and handle customer service calls
Create estimates and repair orders
Communicate repair recommendations and pricing to customers
Coordinate work with technicians and shop leadership
Keep customers updated on repair status and completion times
Order and verify parts when needed
Handle invoices, payments, and completed repair paperwork
Work with commercial fleet accounts and drivers
Help prioritize jobs based on customer needs and shop workload
Maintain accurate service records
Provide professional customer service even when the shop gets busy
