Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Sunday – Saturday, weekends and some holidays as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census requirements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in accordance with facility standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in Medical Surgical or Telemetry
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates are not accepted for this travel assignment)
• Must pass a telemetry competency exam prior to start (adult and pediatric) with a minimum score of 80% and 100% identification of lethal rhythms; passing must be achieved within allowable attempts
• Ability to work night shifts including weekends and select holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and advanced cardiac rhythm interpretation
