JOB SUMMARY: Provides administrative support to the production department. Releases and distributes orders for assigned department. Performs daily production reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)

• Coordinates execution of department production schedule
• Gathers and reviews data from manufacturing and support organizations, coordinates with capacity and material analysis to resolve material and capacity discrepancies that affect the schedule
• Translates anticipated demand into production and purchase orders for internal and external suppliers
• Attends production and planning meetings
• Works closely with Customer Service Department, Purchasing Department, Production Department, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Shipping Department to ensure products are produced and shipped per schedule
• Processes change notices
• Fulfills replacement part orders
• Monitors daily attendance
• Completes daily MDI reports
• Facilitates orientation for new hires
• Cross trains team members on processes and assists with production as needed
• Create purchase requisitions for department supplies as required using purchasing system
• Performs safety inspections
• Other duties may be assigned

Key Competencies: Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers. Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Basic computer literacy including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and AS400. Mathematical Abilities: Ability to use MS Excel to analyze data and present in a meaningful manner Analytical or Reasoning Abilities: Effective leadership, administration, analytical, and communication skills (written and oral). Communication Skills: (Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning) Spanish language a plus. Other Skills (Technical, or Other special knowledge and abilities) Organizational and time management skills are required. Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced and complex environment. A team-oriented individual who is flexible and adaptable to an ever-changing environment. Ability to plan and organize and to set priorities to meet deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 2+ years of experience in comparable roles. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Computer Skills: PC proficiency is essential, as experience with Microsoft Office products and MRP systems (AS400 preferred) Mathematical Abilities: Ability to use MS Excel to analyze data and present in a meaningful manner Analytical or Reasoning Abilities: Effective leadership, administration, analytical, and communication skills (written and oral). Communication Skills: (Writing, Foreign Language, Reasoning) Spanish language a plus.
