Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Grill Cook / Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cook items on the grill, and maintain a clean and organized workstation while following all food safety guidelines from the Food and Drug Administration.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, and sauces before service
Cook food items on the grill according to recipes and customer orders
Maintain proper food temperatures and quality standards
Follow sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen
Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, and utensils
Assist other kitchen staff during busy periods
Store food properly and label ingredients
Ensure kitchen supplies are stocked and organized
Qualifications
Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred
Basic knowledge of grilling and food preparation
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40–50 lbs
Food handler or safety certification (recommended by the National Restaurant Association)
