Quick Facts Location: 5801 Bremo Road, Richmond, VA 23226 Start Date: 04/28/2026 Duration: ASAP until onboarding complete Shift: Mon-Fri + call (1:6 call ratio) Hours/week: 40+ hours (flexible based on coverage) Employment Type: Locum-to-Perm opportunity License/Certifications: Board-Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology Experience: Preferred minimum 2 years in cardiology practice Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology services for adult and geriatric patients Perform and interpret electrocardiograms (EKGs) Collaborate with a team of healthcare providers, supervising 4 APCs when needed Support discharge planning and follow-up care Document patient encounters using EPIC EMR system Support ongoing patient management and care coordination during coverage What You Need Current, valid medical license to practice in Virginia Board certification in Non-Invasive Cardiology At least 2 years of clinical cardiology experience preferred Strong communication and team collaboration skills Ability to work independently and supervise staff as needed About the Assignment This assignment is with a reputable facility in Richmond, VA, supporting their cardiology department.
