Rhino Medical is seeking a CRNA for an ongoing locum tenens role in a hospital setting at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. This position involves performing anesthesia procedures such as spinals, working within a collaborative care team, and providing independent anesthesia coverage predominantly for adult patients. The role offers Monday through Friday scheduling, with 8-hour shifts and optional on-call coverage. Site flexibility may be introduced after initial onboarding.

Practice Environment

This 300-bed hospital in Richmond supports a variety of services including oncology, neurology, endoscopy, radiology, and obstetrics. Equipped with 16 operating rooms, advanced imaging technology, and comprehensive support services, the facility maintains a modern anesthesia environment. Orientation to Medaxion EMR is provided on the first day, with ongoing support available.

Schedule & Coverage

• Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
• On-call: Optional, to be confirmed

Clinical Responsibilities

• Providing anesthesia for adult patients in hospital procedures
• Performing spinal anesthesia and other straightforward anesthesia procedures
• Collaborating with attending physicians within a care team model
• Administering anesthesia independently
• Covering mainly simple cases with potential for more complex procedures over time

Candidate Requirements

• Virginia medical license or ability to obtain
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Nurse Anesthesia
