Responsibilities
- Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
- Hire, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of all body shop employees.
- Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the body shop.
- Monitor progress and completion of vehicles in the shop, ensuring that proper repair and safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain high‑quality service repairs and minimize comebacks. Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
- Handle customer complaints immediately and according to dealership guidelines.
Requirements
- Must have experience as a body shop manager.
- Must have high energy, positive attitude, and ability to multitask.
- Must have excellent communication, organization, and follow‑up skills.
