Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and elderly demographics utilizing both standardized assessments and observation-based methods.
• Develop individualized treatment approaches that cater to immediate needs and support sustained communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver dedicated speech therapy sessions focused on areas including language, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and caregivers to construct holistic care plans.
• Provide education and resources for patients and families to foster advancement in daily life outside of therapy sessions.
• Assist with periodic inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure an uninterrupted care process throughout each patient's journey.
• Keep meticulous records in line with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Commit to ongoing professional development, pursuing the latest advances in the field through education and peer collaboration.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if working towards ASHA certification.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be acquired within 30 days of hire.
