About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Pyramid Consulting, Inc. to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Newport, Vermont, 05855!

• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications, IVs, and prescribed treatments.
• Monitor vital signs and patient conditions.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and changes in patient status.
• Assist with procedures, including wound care and emergency interventions.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
• Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of ER experience
• Emergency Room/Critical Access Hospital experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• Active nursing license required upon acceptance
• Agency professionals must attend quarterly department education sessions
