HVAC Tech

We are currently looking for a HVAC Technician. This candidate will perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, modify and repair air-conditioning equipment in an industrial environment according to safety codes and regulations. Applicants must have excellent trouble shooting skills. Successful candidates will be dependable, a self-starter, highly motivated, proactive, and organized with the ability to multi task, take direction, and stay calm in a high stress environment. Some Saturdays and overtime will be required based on business needs.

The ideal candidate will have a 2 year certificate from college or technical school, OR at least two years related experience and/or training, OR equivalent combination of education and experience; Prove that they have a clean driving record with the ability to provide a copy of their MVR; Maintain a positive attitude; Demonstrate the ability to communicate to employees and members of the team effectively; Working knowledge of computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); Ability to demonstrate creative problem solving and decision making abilities; Participate on a team as an active team player and be self-motivated to get projects and day-to-day maintenance tasks and repairs completed.

Our Maintenance team supports over 40 buildings in the Clearfield Freeport Center and are faced with a wide variety of tasks to help maintain, beautify and build production and office spaces in our Corporate Headquarters. Candidates that are looking for an opportunity to learn and grow within a department will be a good fit for our Maintenance Team.

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to provide a clean MVR
• Aptitude for Maintenance related skills and a willingness to learn various components of the job
• Must have the ability to read and write in English and basis mathematical skills
• Overtime may be required, including some Saturdays and some flexibility with hours
