Field Service Technician

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is now hiring a Field Service Technician for a customer-focused and highly respected manufacturer of LP Gas products for the RV industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, values teamwork, and has the mechanical know-how to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain specialized equipment.


Schedule & Pay:

• Shift: Full-time (Hours vary depending on customer needs; flexibility required)
  
  
• Pay: $20.00 - 21.00/hr

What You'll Be Doing:


As a Field Service Technician, you will travel to customer locations to ensure proper equipment functionality and quickly resolve any technical issues. Key responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and resolving technical problems on-site
  
  
• Performing maintenance and repairs following installation
  
  
• Reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
  
  
• Producing detailed service reports and documenting completed tasks
  
  
• Ensuring quality of service and customer satisfaction
  
  
• Reporting defective parts or malfunctions to your supervisor
  
  
• Operating a company vehicle safely and according to protocol
  
  
• Supporting other duties and tasks as assigned

What You Bring to the Role:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools and machines (e.g., wrenches, hose crimpers)
  
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  
  
• Previous experience with Flex-Tech products preferred
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  
  
• Dependability, flexibility, and the ability to work independently or with a team
  
  
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Clean MVR/Driving record required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand, bend, crouch, and crawl for extended periods
  
  
• Must be able to work in various environments and tight spaces
  
  
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs
