The team interfaces directly with Program Managers, Engineers, Supplier Quality and our Supply Chain Partners and will be responsible for the management of supplier cost, schedule and technical performance of non major sub items. Responsibilities will include:Negotiates with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.Expedite and coordinate hardware deliveries to meet production schedulesTroubleshooting to resolve supplier issues or concerns with management oversightUnderstanding program material requirements, Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMPA), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR)Working cross-functionally with program managment, engineering, finance, and quality to insure timely delivery of products to support production needs Role will require developing and tracking Supplier IPT's and traveling to suppliers in support of issues that may arise due to quality or schedule concerns or development of new suppliers and/or products.Ensuring timely release of purchase orders to subtiers Why Join Us:The ideal candidate is a collaborative, results‑driven professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and excels at building strong supplier relationships.
