Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to bring their unique skills to our progressive team. Utilising cutting-edge ultrasound equipment, you will perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, working alongside a supportive team dedicated to patient care. You'll play a critical role in interpreting images that help alleviate fears and provide clarity in challenging health journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout each examination, reinforcing understanding and compassion
• Engage closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality images and effective communication
• Manage ultrasound equipment, swiftly addressing any technical issues
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient data within the electronic medical records system
• Remain engaged with the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practice standards

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• A CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completed is highly preferred

Certifications Required

• Active ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and adept at patient positioning
