Kodiak Labor Solutions is hiring a Mechanical Superintendent for large ground-up data center new construction work in Richmond, VA . This is a strong opportunity for a field leader with HVAC, plumbing, mechanical construction, or MEP experience who wants major project work, strong compensation, excellent benefits, and long-term growth.

What You Will Do

• Oversee change-outs, retrofits, and installations for complex projects.
• Supervise mechanics, apprentices, helpers, and assigned trade/craft workers.
• Inspect work in progress and completed work for compliance with specifications.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders for installations.
• Review and release shop drawings for timely installation.
• Teach and coach teammates to improve safety and productivity.
• Monitor manpower, tools, and inventory activities.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage project budgets.
• Ensure services meet contractual agreements and budget objectives.

What We Are Seeking

• 5+ years of industry experience, including supervisory experience.
• Experience with commercial, heavy industrial, data center, or mission critical construction preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of International Codes, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
• OSHA 30-hour certification and OSHA safety knowledge.
• Experience handling personnel issues.
• Strong mechanical, administrative, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with computer, tablet, smartphone, Microsoft Teams, Procore, and BIM.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
