Position Summary The Technical Project Manager is accountable for managing site-based projects throughout the software development lifecycle. This role partners closely with the Lottery, site associates, cross-functional Scientific Games stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure successful delivery of a portfolio of technical initiatives. The Technical Project Manager provides end-to-end project oversight, including planning, execution, prioritization, risk management, and transparent status reporting. Job Duties / Key Accountabilities Manage multiple site projects and portfolio-level initiatives through the full software development lifecycle. Serve as a primary point of coordination between the Lottery, site teams, internal SG stakeholders, and third-party partners. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, dependencies, and deliverables. Oversee portfolio prioritization to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer commitments. Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; develop and execute mitigation plans. Provide regular project and portfolio status reporting, including timelines, risks, issues, and resource impacts. Facilitate project governance, working sessions, and stakeholder communications. Ensure adherence to SG project management standards, processes, and best practices. Support continuous improvement of project delivery processes and tools. Required Minimum bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience 5 + years of PM experience, with at least 2 years in leading large-scale customer implementation projects Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, preferably within software development or technology-driven environments. Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and portfolios simultaneously. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external customers, and third-party vendors. Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Experience with change management and scope control Understanding of release planning and deployment coordination Metrics-driven approach (milestones, burn-up/down, delivery health) Desired PMP certification is strongly preferred (or equivalent project management certification). Experience working in regulated or customer-facing environments (e.g., lottery, gaming, or similar industries) Familiarity with JIRA and Planview Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
