The CMA also engages in patient education and maintains compliance with HIPAA regulations within a fast-paced, collaborative environment utilizing the eclinical works EHR system. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Measure and record vital signs accurately
• Manage and update medical records using eclinical works
• Provide clinical support including administering injections and immunizations
• Educate patients on health management and treatment plans

• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy standards
• Maintain efficient time management to support daily clinic operations

Required Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Medical Assisting
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR), specifically eclinical works
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience administering injections and immunizations
• Excellent patient communication skills
• Thorough understanding of HIPAA compliance
• Competence in clinical procedures
• Effective time management skills
