Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial interviews, identifying patients' needs and documenting their histories meticulously.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that promote healing and coping strategies, allowing clients to explore personal challenges in a supportive setting.

• Regularly monitor and assess progress towards the goals set in treatment plans, adjusting strategies as necessary to enhance effectiveness.

• Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to create comprehensive intervention plans.

• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other medical personnel for hospitalized clients, ensuring continuity of care through effective communication.

• Actively identify behaviors that may impede recovery and work with clients and their families to counteract these challenges.

• Provide guidance and support to family members or primary caregivers as they assist clients in managing their mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in Texas.

• A successful pass of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven experience as a mental health counselor, utilizing clinical insight and empathy in your practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, reflective of your skills and experience.
