IT Support Analyst

The IT Help Desk Supervisor role plays a vital role in ensuring the IT Department’s operations are aligned with business objectives of the organization. This involves planning, coordinating, and designing IT‑related activities, providing administrative direction and support for daily operations, defining and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices. What You’ll Do: Assist the IT department’s operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and Office Automation equipment. Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems. Keep current with the latest technologies. Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision. Practice asset management for IT hardware, software, and equipment. Establish and maintain regular written and in‑person communications with the organization’s executives, department heads and end users regarding pertinent IT activities. Assist associates with questions on product installation, usage, and implementation. Respond to and investigate team inquiries, concerns, and issues via phone, mail, and e‑mail in a timely and courteous manner. Answer team inquiries and provide appropriate technical and/or product‑related information. Research and resolve team complaints with regards to IT matters. Effectively communicate team IT issues and concerns to all applicable internal staff members. Organize and maintain file system, files correspondence, and other records. Maintain working knowledge of products and/or services. Prepare reports and correspondence as needed. Set up and maintain computer equipment. May perform other duties as assigned or necessary. What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years related experience or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Office365, and SharePoint. Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed but uninvolved written and oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
