Assistant Dietary Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Dietary Manager to join our team at Accolade Healthcare of Savoy! As a key member of our dietary services department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care and satisfaction. About the Role:
As an Assistant Dietary Manager at Accolade Healthcare of Savoy, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of our dietary services department. This includes:
• Supervising a team of dietary staff to ensure that patients receive high-quality food services and excellent customer service
• Coordinating menus, food preparation, and delivery to meet the nutritional needs of our patients
• Maintaining accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and services
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the development and implementation of dietary services policies and procedures
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and care
• Conduct staff training and provide coaching to improve performance and skills
• Monitor and control food costs and inventory to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
Requirements:
0 years of experience in a dietary setting, with a focus on management or supervisory roles
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in food service management or a related field preferred
