About the Role:

As a COTA with North Lake Care Center , you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and care of our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans. This may include providing adaptive equipment training, teaching daily living skills, and facilitating therapy sessions. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our residents, and we are excited to bring you on board.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized therapy plans

• Provide adaptive equipment training and teach daily living skills to residents

• Facilitate therapy sessions and document resident progress

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care

• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care

• Participate in resident assessments and care planning

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and colleagues

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
