Business Development Associates in Private Capital support investment and fundraising teams by identifying prospective investors, maintaining investor relationships, and driving capital commitments. The role combines financial analysis, investor engagement, and market research to expand the firm’s private capital base.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport capital raising initiatives across private equity, credit, real estate, and other private capital strategies
Conduct investor research, market analysis, and benchmarking to identify potential clients and funding opportunities
Prepare investor presentations, pitch materials, and investment memoranda
Assist in managing and growing relationships with institutional investors, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals
Track fundraising pipelines, investor activity, and engagement metrics
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance, accurate reporting, and seamless execution of fundraising campaigns
Support portfolio reporting and investor updates, including performance metrics and market insights
Identify strategic opportunities to expand investor outreach and enhance fundraising effectiveness
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
Strong understanding of private capital markets, investment structures, and fundraising processes
Experience or coursework in investment banking, private equity, credit, or asset management (preferred but not required)
Analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to synthesize complex information
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM or data management tools; familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Clear written and verbal communication skills for investor-facing and internal reporting
Strong interest in capital markets, private investing, and investor relations
