Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Compassion Empathy Description: The Emergency Department features 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds. The team consists of 77 staff members. Day shift includes Nurse Supervisor, RNs, Paramedics, and LVNs. Night shift consists of Nurse Supervisor, RNs, and Paramedics or LVNs. Patient ratios are 1:4. Equipment used includes Baxter IV pumps, GE Monitors, Ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, portable EKG machines, and EMR - Meditech. Common procedures performed include NIH, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK, and cardiac monitoring. Ideal candidates will be team players. Every other weekend is a typical requirement. Candidates must possess required certifications.
