Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: Compassion Empathy Description: The Emergency Department has 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds. The unit is staffed with 77 personnel, including charge nurses and RNs. Patient ratios are 1:4. Equipment used includes IV pumps, monitors, ventilators, and EMR systems. Typical procedures performed include IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, cardiac monitoring, and NIH stroke assessments. Team players are preferred for this role. Candidates without the required skills will not be considered. Weekend shifts are expected every other weekend. This position requires the applicant to have specific certifications in life support and trauma care.
